Helix uses the latest in CAD/CAM technology to design the 1964-1972 GM Stock Disc Brake Spindle, ensuring a long life and smooth operation. Helix spindles are one piece drop-forged 1045 carbon steel. Be aware of unsafe, cheap castings that are prone to snapping off, creating a deadly situation in a moving vehicle.

This item does NOT accept stock brake/front end components. This item requires the Helix MII Pro Caliper Bracket (SKU: 12308), or custom built to spec caliper brackets.



Spindles for GM A,F,& X bodies, Novas ('62-'67), Camaros, & Firebirds.



These will not work on trucks and are for disk brakes. Will work with drum brakes with a 5/8 spacer installed on the top bolt for drum brakes.



The primary difference between disc brake spindles and drum brake spindles is the thickness of the upper mount boss. The upper boss is 5/8" thicker on drum brake spindles than on the disc brake spindles.
